Really great food, went with my mother and wife, only down side was the wait but with a restaurant like that with that kinda food it's understandable. While waiting you can look at all their in-store items which are really nice. Sweet atmosphere too, will be back soon.

Josh waited on us. I like they use ceramic plates and glassware and nothing fake and plastic. Reminds me being a kid 25 years a go and my grandparents taking me here. Got the double meat breakfast with three eggs and fixin's (biscuits, southern cream gravy, real butter & jellys). Capt got the pork chop breakfast. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious. Super clean restaurant. There is also a country store on the opposite side to shop in. We will be back.

Cracker Barrel has long been a favorite of mine but I was disappointed tonight. I always get the Turnip Greens as a side dish and the waitress brings the pepper sauce to the table usually without asking. Well tonight I was informed they did not have any pepper sauce. I told her they should close until a new shipment comes in.
My wife had the fried chicken and it had been settings for a while and was dried out! -

Four of us went there around 1pm today. Ordered blackened grilled fish, fried catfish, country fried steak (because they do not have chicken fried steak..they used to, right??) , and meatloaf lunches. Not one dish had any flavor. Country steak was cold with hard edges. Meatloaf tasted more like a veg loaf. No plain grilled fish..got blackened..it was very spicy to where it drowned out the fish. Fried catfish was cold with hardened edges, also. We eat at CB quite often...though not at this particular location. We ate what we could and brought a big doggy bag home to our dogs. Even our waiter had an attitude. No refills unless we asked. And when we did flag him down, he didn't even stop at our table. He talked as he walked past us. How rude! We were extremely disappointed. We paid our bill, and all agreed: never again!!

At first sight I thought this would be a lame ol' senior citizen type of restaurant with some nasty greasy food but I took my chances this morning to try it out and little did I expect it'd turn out to be my new #1 favorite breakfast joint in town. I mean, what's better than sitting on a rocking chair playing checkers or shopping at a cute little gift shop full of useless novelties while you wait 15-20 mins to be seated ? Fresh from scratch southern-style comfort food that's tasty healthy and homemade it's almost as if my own grandma snuck in and cooked it ! No but really, I think we really hit the jackpot with this one ! Any of the samplers are more than enough as far as portion size and one more thing; the pecan pancakes are to die for, just scrumptious. 4 stars only cause it was WAAAAY too crammed.
